April 10th 2006 Catbells - Maiden Moor - High Spy
On what has got to be one of the clearest
days we have had for a long time
Kereneza and I set off from Hawes End to climb Catbells to High Spy.

Our car behind Kerenza

Best foot forward.

Derwent looking like a mill pond

Skiddaw looking like a nice cake with icing on the top.. and
an ugly bloke infront spoiling it...

Possible one of the best shots - Derwent with Blencathra in
the backgound

I was going to edit this.. change the lighting.. then thought..
mmm maybe not.. what do you think??

Approaching Branelhow

Causey Pike behind Kerenza

Brandelhow

Kez scoffing Hoola Hoops on top of Catbells

Looking towards Maiden Moor

This was a grin of 'tell me when I can move away from the edge
dad'...

Looking back to Catbells

The side of Hindscarth

The march up to High Spy goes left, we went to the cairn highest
on the right, I think it's Blea crag?

The wind just picked up a little on top, but the views were
amazing

Above picture is taken with a Nokia 6280 mobile phone

I think this is called Blea Crag?

Kerenza took this with our Nikon.. this is dad being just a
little bit brave.. thankfully way below any ice or snow..

My view down off the edge.

I took this picture with my Nokia 6280 mobile phone, you can
just make out Kerenza sat down.

ET phone home....
'Mummy, I made it to the top.. and guess what.. Daddy didn't get lost once..
