I have to say that this was one of the most spectacular views I have ever had in the Lakes!
From Lord's Seat summit, over Barf to the Skiddaw range. I had contacted Chris and Becca by
this stage and I knew they were very close to being at the bottom of Barf at Beckstones Beck..
so no time to sit down and enjoy.. maybe another time...
Looking back from Lord's Seat to Broom Fell and Graystones
Between Lord's Seat and Barf. If you look at the highest point on Barf the track leads to the left,
there is a great view point here and I would suggest you check it out if you go this way.
Bassenthwaite Lake and the Skiddaw Range.
Looking north up the lake.. totally amazing view
Looking back towards Keswick with Skiddaw Dodd to the far left
The Swan Hotel far, far below
Woodend and the heart stopping view down

Finally Chris, Becca and Kerenza make it to the summit to join me.

Down past Beckstones Gill to the plantation and a view back to Barf
I'm not convinced this works.. seemed a good idea at the time
This works though...
Just before the visitors center.. not totally sure what they are???
