The North Western Fells

This is again a group of fells that has so many breath taking views, and ascents that it is hard to know where to start. Two fells are amongst the most visited, Causey Pike and Catbells. Both can been seen from Keswick over looking Derwent water, both are fairly easy to climb and from their summits you can see for miles. They can both be the start of wonderful Horseshoe walks, in which you take in some of the best views any where. Climb to High Spy from Catbells and then drop down a little to the east, only a few feet.. just don't look down.. breath taking.
When I walked the Hindscarth trio sadly it was rather cloudy so the views were a little limited, but a great walk that I shall do again one day soon.
One of the most confusing walks is through the Winlatter Forrest, but the summit of Barf is worth the navigating, wonderful!
This group will hopefully be the end of my quest to do all 214, Whiteside - Grassmoor and down to Rannerdale.
