Our Keswick Weekend Away

Blencathra - Mungrisdale Common - Bannerdale Crags - Bowscale Fell
10.79 miles - 3,301 ft ascended
Kerenza and I were meant to walk a horseshoe that started with Souther Fell,
the only problem was that we couldn't see the path leading off the road up to SF,
so we ended up walking all the way to the bottom of Scales Fell.

It turns out these two weren't quite as friendly as the owners made out
and they both started to get really nasty with Jay...
this is where I wished we had a fit unpregnant Zara with us, she would have ripped them both to pieces..
Jay just tried his best to keep out of their way.

Mungrisdale Common summit, such as it is.. this is by far the biggest waste
of time so far on our 'fell bagging' quest!

After having already walked so far, and the heat as it was, I have to say even I thought ths was one hill too far..
only problem was it was in the way of us getting back to the car...
oh well.. head down

When we got back to the camp site Kerenza was shattered..
and so was I...
Jay didn't seem too full of life either..
