Page Two

From my decent of Great Calva a shot of Skiddaw again..

As I said at the end of the first page, getting to where I should have been on Burn Tod was a bit of a farce
and one I shall not be looking back on fondly, especially when I got to where I should have been
and looked back to Calva.. how could I have gone wrong??? Finally though, sight of Meal Fell

and of course of Great Cockup.. yes I know.. I know.. the irony....

and inbrtween them is Tusmadoor.

From half way up Great Cockup, looking across White Hause to Skiddaw.

From the same place, across to Lowthwaite Fell

and again looking to Meal Fell

This time from the summit, looking at Skiddaw. This might be a good time to mention the floor covering I had all day!!
On Outdoors Magic's message forum someone mentioned a few weeks back about the millions of cattapilla's that they had
seen covering the ground as they walked... then they all seem to have fanished.. moths.. yeh we know..
Well, they are back.. in their millions.. and they climb stones really well.. no where was safe to sit.

Looking across to Great Cockups western summit

Meal Fell again, with Littlesca, and Greatsca fell's behind it.

Burn Tod from Great Cockup

Looking across to Binsey

Meal fell's shelter from near the summit

From this near to be precise.

and again, and I guess on another day I may have been very glad of said shelter.. not many walls around here...

Left Littlesca Fell, right Greatsca Fell. Now I am getting rather into changing my route as I go along if I think
I can save a few feet. Acording to the route I had I was meant to walk up inbetween the two tops and
over the top of the gill, then drop back down on a well established path, down to Lowthwaite Fell. That meant though
that on doing Longlands, and they Brea Fell I'd have to climb back up to Littlesca fell again.. and I didn't much fancy that.
Instead I took a path just out of picture and headed for a place called Broad Moss. Worked fine!

Over Lowthwaite Fell and onto Longlands Fell.. a very, very long way from where I started!
Over Water and BInsey in the picture.

Looking back to Lowthwaite Fell from Longlands.

From Longlands this is Brea Fell. Again there is a route that follows near to the gill, instead I dropped
right off the side of Longlands, and walked up a path just out of shot to the left.

I have a really rubbich macro on my camera.. but there we some of my unwelcomed fellow trekers

On the side of Brea Fell a flock of crows were really stired up about something..

Brea Fell summit, looking towards Littlesca Fell

and the said Littlesca Fell

The path I told you about leading from Littlesca Fell to Lowthwaite and Longlands fell
