I am now very seriously on a mission to walk all 214 Wainwright Fells. For more information on A.W. please have a look at the Society web site.
I should point out that although doing these 214 fells is now really important to me, I do at times scream out loud at some of his omissions and additions.
It's a personal thing, and I won't allow anyone to tell me that his guy has the final word concerning places to walk in the lakes. So far my biggest gripe is the omission of Ill Crag, (Nr Scafell Pike), which for me has one of the most amazing views any where in the lakes.
